Rental Zebra was established in 2010, and is owned and operated by a dynamic family team. At Rental Zebra we treat every property like our own and every tenant with respect. We have been tenants, and we have been landlords, and we relate to the perspectives of both. Our team understands the challenges tenants and landlords face throughout the rental process. It is our goal as your property management company to help you overcome those challenges, and achieve the rental outcome you want most!
We work together as a team to meet the needs of our clients. Many members of our team are fluent in Spanish, while others speak Hmong, which allows us to effectively communicate with a wider pool of tenants, vendors and owners. Our combined education, experience and real estate knowledge ensure we are prepared to tackle any challenge. Three members of our team are licensed brokers and several more are licensed agents with the California Association of Realtors. We’re also members of the California Apartment Association and of the National Association of Residential Property Managers. These associations offer legal resources, education and ongoing training so that Rental Zebra will always be the best property management partner in the business.

Meet Our Team
Meet the Partners
TR keeps us on our toes and challenges us daily to maximize client satisfaction and profits (yours and ours) simultaneously. TR has actively supported many Central Valley community causes for over 40 years, including the Merced County Food Bank, education, healthcare, UC Merced, youth sports and more. He has even been known to shave his head for a cause. He’s a current trustee for Merced County Office of Education (MCOE). We thank him for his service to our country too! He is the zebra behind Rental Zebra. There is no gray area with this leader; it’s all black and white.
Erin is our General Manager. She is our resident marketing ace, a reports wizard and she puts brilliance behind all that she does. There is no task too large or too small for this exceptional woman and you’ll be thrilled with the results Erin delivers. Erin is a trustee on the Merced Union High School District (MUHSD) board and is committed to improving her community. She loves to hike, travel the globe and follow her kids’ athletic endeavors. Alicia manages all facility improvements and on-going maintenance company-wide and does it with energy and charisma. She’s a savvy negotiator and demands jobs well done. Alicia is a devoted supporter of children and adults with special needs. She currently serves on the board of Miracle League North Bay. Tacos are her favorite food.
Cristen spearheads business development and growth for Rental Zebra. A talented real estate investor, Cristen is constantly looking for new opportunities. She is driven to succeed and her creative thinking serves us (and you) well. Her passion for real estate translates into exceptional leadership and customer service. Cristen enjoys country music, guacamole and traveling in Europe. She’s a proud Golden Valley High School Hall of Fame inductee (Merced CA). She also speaks Spanish fluently.
Jamie got us started in this business with her uncanny style, wit, and tenacity. Her industry knowledge and know-how equip us with an edge most companies don’t have. She manages leasing company-wide and ensures we maximize owner investments. Jamie is a proud California Golden Bear and enjoys spending time with family in her free time. Her Spanish is exceptional.
Accounting Team
See is our Business Director and the backbone of our operation. He keeps financials in order and saves all from headaches with his cool, calm and collected demeanor. Patience is the name of his game! See’s skill set and property management expertise have grown with Rental Zebra over the past decade. Hmong Leng.
Teena is our Accounting Supervisor. Teena approaches each task with a great attitude and brings good energy to our Merced office. She is a proud graduate of Fresno State with a degree in accounting and is a top notch business writer! She’s a leader with nearly five years of experience with Rental Zebra and will patiently answer all your questions. Teena ensures a great office vibe. She enjoys spending time with family and loves tacos!
Rachel is our front desk receptionist who's often the first point of contact for our clients. She is a Merced CA native and speaks Spanish. Rachel enjoys spending time with her grand baby.
Central Valley Leasing Team
Shaylynn is our Shaylynn is our Leasing Director. She’s been a dedicated member of team Rental Zebra for more than 12 years! Shaylynn is a problem solver by nature. She asks great questions and, utilizing her psychology degree, provides professional empathy, helping applicants secure the right home for their circumstances. She and her team pride themselves on finding the perfect balance between maximizing investor returns and keeping happy residents. She��s no nonsense and direct in her approach leaving no room for error. In her free time, Shaylynn enjoys spending time with family and going on all sorts of adventures.
Mitch is our Business Development and Commercial Coordinator. He is a Merced native and brings several years of real estate experience to our team. Mitch is great at helping people find a place to call home. When he’s not at work, Mitch enjoys spending time with his family and working with horses at Lazy K Ranch. He’s our resident cowboy and the best of the best people. You’ll enjoy his calm demeanor and ability to make things happen.
Danielle is our Central Valley Leasing Manager. She is a California native, and was raised in the Central Valley. She brings many years of property management and sales experience to our team. Danielle loves to solve problems, and learn new things to help her clients succeed. In her free time, she loves to explore the great outdoors. You will no doubt leave any encounter with Danielle smiling and feeling satisfied.
Enrique is our Central Valley Leasing Assistant. He’s task oriented and in addition to being a team player, he’s an all around good person. He has 10 years of experience in administrative roles and transitioned into property management because he enjoys helping people and saw an opportunity to build a career in the field. When not working, you'll likely find him jogging and listening to great music. He’s a native Spanish speaker.
Central Valley Maintenance Team
Suzanne is our Strategic Maintenance Director. She hails from Ohio where she was a realtor and a professional photographer. As a result, she understands weather issues, how to properly improve a home, and her attention to detail is second to none. She’s patient, kind, and not afraid of much! She’s dedicated to protecting properties and ensuring resident safety. Suzanne enjoys the outdoors, traveling with her family and new adventures. She and her boys are also monster truck enthusiasts!
Jimmy hails from the Central Valley and is proud of his roots. He has a diverse resume, including having helped build the home where he lives. He pays attention to detail and is intimately involved in all inspections. Your property is in good hands with Jimmy! In his free time he enjoys tinkering with cars and gardening. El habla español.
Montse studied international business and is proud of her organizational skills, ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks. She helps manage maintenance issues, working with vendors, residents and owners to provide the most logical solutions. She enjoys spending time with family, hiking and watching movies. Ella habla español.
IT Support
Diana is our IT Support Coordinator. She has an incredible desire to learn and improve systems. Diana is currently studying for a degree in computer programming. She joined our team in 2020. Diana is fluent in Spanish. Her go to karaoke song is "I Will Always Love You" by the late, great Whitney Houston.
